Welcome to Sixth Form
Your Journey Starts Here
To be successful in their studies, students need to be organised, manage their time well and become independent learners. They are expected to do at least 5 hours independent study per subject per week as well as engage in wider reading for their chosen subjects. Managing time effectively is supported by our experienced team of tutors and our dedicated Student Support Lead.
GCSE English Language or English Literature at Grade 4 or above or GCSE Mathematics at Grade 4 or above.
Fives or more subjects in total at Grade 4 or above (this includes BTECs).
Entry requirements of specific subjects (see prospectus).
At Sixth Form we expect students to abide by the dress code. Visit the link below to see our guidelines.
16-19 Bursary Fund
Students in the Sixth Form who need some minor financial support for purchasing books, transport, meals and equipment can apply to our 16 to 19 Bursary Fund. We are committed to distributing bursaries to those students with the greatest need.
Complete the Bursary Fund Application Form. Paper copies are available from the Finance Office or Student Support Lead. Complete the application as soon as possible, outlining the resources you need and have it signed by the Sixth Form SLT member.
