What a game for our combined Year 7 and 8 girls football team, securing a brilliant 2–1 victory against Thomas Telford UTC Girls!

After a tense match with no goals across the two halves, the game went to penalties, creating an unreal atmosphere!

Mya Nahar scored to equalise at 1–1, before Elyssia Walker-Shelton netted the decisive penalty to secure the win!

A special mention to goalkeeper Erica Heath for her fantastic saves throughout the match.

Miss Lowbridge is incredibly proud of the team’s determination, energy, effort and positivity. The girls showed outstanding sportsmanship, kindness and respect towards the opposition, with referee Mr Scriven also very impressed by their determination and attitude.

A fantastic team performance and a well-deserved victory! Well done girls and onto the next!💙⚽
