In Psychology this term we saw learning extended beyond the classroom, with a day trip to Dudley Zoo. Pupils conducted their own observational study, exploring whether mammals or non-mammals demonstrate greater sociability. The day included a fascinating workshop on how Dudley Zoo applies psychological principles in animal training, including how snow leopards are trained with a clicker.
