Last week, we were proud to host our Local MP Warinder Juss and BBC Midlands Today at Smestow Academy.
Warinder is working closely with The Daniel Baird Foundation and champions the allocation of bleed kits in schools across the city. Some of our Year 8 pupils took part in a demonstration from the foundation and learnt about the importance of being able to help those in need.
Pupils were then interviewed by the BBC, talking about what they had learnt and how this can help them when in the community.
Look out for us on BBC Midlands Today - coming soon!
