Day 1
Valencia Tour! After a long day of travelling across to Valencia, it was straight into game action for our YR9&10 footballers with games against a local Spanish side at Valencia Training ground. Under the lights on a European night 💪🏻
The group were split into two teams to take on the Spanish sides and what an experience it was for our pupils. Playing in a different country, different style of football to come up against but such an enjoyable opportunity.
Team 1 worked their socks off all game, and demonstrated incredible determination in a hard fought fixture. Special mention to Tyrone who was our goalscorer on the night and the defensive work of Madison, Tyler & Jeevan.
Team 2 also had a very hard fixture with what was some excellent football on show. They showed desire and work rate all the way through the game, with Craig popping up with a fantastic free kick from 20 yards out 👏🏻
What a start to the trip! Well done all and we look forward to lots of training and development across the next couple of days.
Day 2
Day 2 in Valencia was action filled with football, football and more football. We had an early morning training session where the focus was on shooting which the guys really enjoyed scoring lots of goals 🙏🏻 Another fantastic opportunity and some of the lads even managed to get a picture with some first team players 🙌🏻
We then made our way to the Stadium for our tour which again was a brilliant experience, managing to see another fantastic elite stadium for what it’s worth and all the brilliant bits you wouldn’t get to see just going to watch a game - Changing rooms, dugouts, press room, trophy cabinet and executive box.
The afternoon was another intense training session in the Spanish heat, with different coaches but still top quality coaching and session for the guys. All of our pupils are really enjoying the training sessions, lots of smiles on faces and enjoyment whilst taking in the amazing surroundings!
It was more of a relaxing evening where the guys partook in a quiz with 3 rounds finishing in a football round and the overall winners being Josh, Marley & Muslim 👏🏻

Day 3 - Sightseeing Saturday in Valencia 🙏🏻
Day 3 was more of a tourism day for the pupils when we embarked onto the beautiful city centre of Valencia and saw the stunning sights including the government building, Valencia main church and some wonderful architecture!
We then went back to the stadium to watch Valencia vs Villarreal ⚽️ What an experience it was to get the chance to watch a La Liga game and even a local derby! The game had it all;
3 goals including a last minute winner
2 red cards
VAR controversy
Fantastic atmosphere which the guys enjoyed getting involved in some of the songs!
Another brilliant day where the pupils were a credit to themselves and the school with their conduct in such open and busy public places! Well done all 🙌🏻
